Oh man!! Clevo having officially discontinued the P870 was so so unfortunate and such a deal breaker for me!
I had a P870KM-G, which was the best laptop I've ever owned; and I was looking forward to seeing a SLI version, which is no longer happening I guess.

The number ONE reason that made me go for the P870 was its I/O ports. The only laptop on the market that had more I/O than any other competitions. Second was the hardware, followed by the speakers. Mine had support for 3 NVMe drives (1 supports intel optane), and two 2.5" drive, and 4 RAM slots

I do know that some vendors still offer it unofficially with the latest hardware, but my question though is:

Will Clevo be making a successor to the P870 with the same or more I/O ports anytime soon?

Will never be something like P870 or P570 anymore. Coming s models will have the narrow bezels so the chassis will be both smaller and thinner all ways. Probably not the worst model from most brand regarding I/O ports. But not as before.

We needed the return of 18.3" panels. It just needs to be 4k 120hz hdr 1000 so it does not need replacing for a while :p

I had a 3200Mhz G.Skill kit and can hearty recommend it if you plan on overclocking or tightening the timings.

    Quick question:
Does the P870TM support a 32GB RAM module?

I checked the official manual, and it's only listed 4/8/16 as compatible modules.

Officially no due to the age of the board so not verified. My guess is 2x 32 should be ok, there could be funny issues potentially with 4x 32gb.

That's a lot of ranks of memory. Not sure if Prema bios has better support for 32Gb modules.

I have seen support for 128GB in some of the newer Clevos, so this must be 4*32. Not sure if you need a bios update though.
