Clevo put the P870TM for End of Life. What you see in P870TM-R is HIDevolution taking the P870TM models and updating the components so it will run with i9-9900K / RTX20x0 GPUs. Note, this should be fine since HIDevolution would still provide a warranty for the laptop.

    Here's what the P870TM-R includes - http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...-lounge-phoenix-5.826848/page-3#post-10848479

The P870TM has been discontinued, but HIDevolution is modding it to support the RTX2080. So only HIDevolution is offering the p870tm-R.
Officially, Clevo is offering the P775 with the 2080.

That's because the P775 TM is woefully inadequate to cool a 9900K properly.
The P870 TM with the vapor chamber heatsink can barely keep the 9900K cool as it is.

    Hi ,

According to the information provided from the shopsite by hidevolution
Are the 2x 330W AC Adapters now needed in combination with 9900k and 2800?

I doubt it. I was running a single GTX 1080 and a 9900k in my P870TM for a while. No issues. RTX 2080 should draw less than the GTX 1080.

The vapor chamber is just for the GPUs, not the CPU.

there "might" be some incompatibilities between the vbios of your gpus and the sbios of the TM barebone. otherwise it should work without issues.

I did that, just gpu vbios is the issue.
