    No sir, not that I recall. Have to mention I bought this computer from Xotic like 4 months ago.

    Did you try Xotic's tech support services? If it's only 4 months then it's still under warranty.

    Would love to, but I live in South America, and my next semester is about to start, so I was trying to fix it on my own. Talked to a Xotic representative and told me the same thing though :(

    If their walking through with you leads to that conclusion I don't think it can be avoided.

    Adjust the GPU voltage curve. Some cards can not handle the ASIC they where assigned.

    Does anyone know a way to disable the keyboard and lid backlights permanently or at least without the entire Clevo hotkey driver and application. I hate having that pile of garbage run just so the lights turn off... Thanks!

    Without modifying the firmware then no.

    Pull the plugs. Small ribbon is for the lights on the keyboard. LID lights are in the backpanel.
