Is it confirmed by now that the P870DM3 SLI uses indeed a vapor chamber or is it just a metal plate with heatpipes on top of it?

    About screens.

I searched on panel info and other official sites, and all FHD displays are 6bit so far, maybe they have the wrong info.

About refresh rate, read the review on notebookcheck on MSI's offering with 120Hz, it does 120Hz, but BW and GG rates are around 30 ms, not under 5ms.

    TBD for 100% confirmation.

My guess would be yes, on both the D3 and D2 models despite the differences in the piping with that amount of power/heat.

Is it wise to get additional warranty cover for dead pixels on a 4K screen? I thought maybe one can't see it with such small pixels

    Thanks

Lol. Good thing we have the AUO I guess?

I told everyone we still get 6-bit in laptops in general. I would have actually shat a brick if that was true 8-bit. However, what is the + dithering?

Honestly, the cooling seems pretty nice there with turbo fan, though the power limit throttle bothers me some, and so does the 6820HK (I need lots of CPU power).

That's the LG Philips screen that MSI uses, not the AUO that Clevo does.

    I highly doubt it's 8-bit, unfortunately.

    It does and is.

However the 120Hz clevo should be gsync'd; can't talk about the MSI LG Philips.

It's +$1000 at mythlogic, use that as your baseline.
