Surface is soft enough that when mounting pressure is applied it almost "forms" around the die, which is good. Though the the copper spacers, that form the patterns and are used for rigidity, cause small deltas since they are tiny pieces of solid copper. Which have a 10-100x lower thermal conductivity than the rest of the vapor chamber.

A couple degrees is just me being nit picky, but these 56x56x3mm vapor chambers are really good for hotspots in general.

That is the advantage of the vapor chamber, get that heat spread horizontally as well.

Btw, if talk about keyboard. Anybody has experiences loosing blue light on keyboard? Recently I realized that I have no blue color. All others work just fine :) If it is the ribbon cable, I am thinking finding the bad pin, and shortcut that with a wire, however some experiences for fixing would be good. Hard decision to buy another just for the sake of RGB :)

The ribbon cable is somewhat fragile, it can fail due to fatigue, ie. after taking out the keyboard many times. So I'd check if there is any noticeable damage around where it's folded.

That or it's internal delamination of that LED channel, either way a replacement would work.
