Hey I have a problem with my computer when I turned it on when it got to the desktop it would start making weird noise through the speakers then the whole thing would shut off, after a couple times of that now it won't turn on or show a charge indicator

When you say weird noise was it like several beeps like an alarm? Sounds like a hardware failure of some kind.

It was like a low electrical buzzing sound that got louder then shut off

Yeah I figured I'd have to do that, I'm about 80% sure my motherboard died since my ram and gpu got harvested and placed in my P170em and it worked just fine with the additions and since I can't use my CPU anywhere else I'm sure it's still good. How much would I be looking at to have someone look at it?

Depends on where you are in the world, if the reseller would take a look or any local shop (that you trust).

Yes, they are definitely gone, likely the charger let a surge through.

I am still waiting to hear back from @Prema regarding a modded BIOS for the Sager NP9772 so I can attempt to use a NVME drive. I have tried to start a conversation but it does not seam to be allowed, any help on this please?
