Just wondering if the Dell PA-9E power supply would work with the Clevo P670HP6 with an appropriate pin adapter? If so, is the pin size 5.5mm x 2.5mm?

If you can adapt it yes, just be aware sometimes dell supplies limit their delivery if they don't get any feedback on the sense pin.

Thank you for replying. I've seen the BixPower X75 adapter recommended elsewhere. Unfortunately, the postage is pretty excessive to Australia. I'm guessing this wouldn't work as a cheaper alternative?

I was wondering if the new IPS panels from the PA70HS-G would fit for P670HS-G.
Would love an IPS QHD 120Hz G-Sync on my laptop, even the Full HD version would be nice.

What is the panel model for these? Does it sell separately?

You can adapt it and it can work, i'm just warning that some Dell supplies can self limit.

There is no 7mm 1tb 7200rpm 128mb hard drive on the market.

From your list I would go with HGST.

The HGST as pex mentioned should do fine, a small 128GB SSD as a boot drive would help a lot too down the line.
