Are you plugged in? High performance mode? (Including in the hotkey software)

Yes I'm plugged in. I'm in high performance mode and power management is on maximum performance.
I have no trouble playing Shadow of mordor and tomb raider, gpu is using it's full potential.
Just that gta v and dota2 seems to throttle in gpu usage. Even if I set the settings to low, fps is not being boosted much and gpu usage just lower itself.

What panel do you have? It could just be down to the sub-pixel layout.

Have you monitored your CPU clocks?

My panel is the AU Optronics B156HAN01.2. Ive tried different color profiles no difference, messed around with drivers for intel and nvidia with no result.
I had a look around on the web and this panel is considered to be one of the good ones and on other sites like notebookcheck where they usually
state any known problems in reviews there's nothing about this panel, so it leads me to believe that its just my panel, unless someone else with the same spec
notebook has the same issue. Its becoming more irritating everyday i can't not think about it when my 8 year old XPS M1710 has a better looking display ;p

So it's been almost a year since I've been using my P650SG and it's served me wonderfully. Since I've gotten it, I've installed the latest premamod BIOS and windows 10

However, the CPU has started getting very hot which thus leads to thermal throttling - something which never happened when I first got the notebook. Using XTU and its benchmark tool, with a -50mV undervolt and setting the fans to MAX in hotkey, the CPU temp goes up to 99C and then the thermal throttling graph shoots up. Previously the temp hardly touched 90 and there was no throttling to speak of (other than current limit throttling which is inherent to these HQ chips).

So I'm wondering how I should get things back on track. I had them use IC Diamond at the time of purchase, but would re-pasting be the next course of action? I've already cleaned out the fan pretty well.

The GPU temps are exactly as they were when I first got the notebook - 80C max.

hey guys, really need some help here on the fingerprint scanner. after the first major win 10 update the fingerprint scanner just doesn't seem to work. windows hello only gives me 2 tries on the fingerprint scanner and locks me on the scanner afterwards. it does seem to me more of a windows hello issue rather a driver issue, but I have no idea to how to solve it. did anyone else have this issue before?

Hey folks. I'm a VR developer thinking of getting a P650RG or P651RG, attracted by the fact that it seems to be the most lightweight laptop with a GTX 980M where you can turn off optimus.

I live in the UK. Is this http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/laptop-computers/clevo-laptops/40/ the only place I can buy it? It weirds me out that it is listed as "650RA" and that when I pick it, it shows me "defiance II"
