Just ordered my NP8651 with the IPS and Killer NIC. My SSD, HDD, and RAM should be here soon. I'm excited to get the laptop so I can install everything and start playing with my new toy!

Do you mean a BIOS newer than 306/306, or do you mean just the Sager version of the Clevo 306?

Have any of you guys with IPS displays had any LCD ghosting issues? Can you specify what LCD model you have?

LoneSyndal is correct. LG IPS uses a LVDS 40 pin connector. Not compatible with the eDP screens.

Hey guys, I just got a Sager NP8652 (Clevo P650SG). It's a good notebook, but the GPU fan seems to be always on when I set the fan to automatic, even if I'm not using it. Is this normal? Is there a BIOS or EC update or something that fixes this?

I have same "issue". I wish we could map GPU fan with MSI Afterburner... That would make it so much easier

With every laptop using a different EC setup even within the same brand then it would be a nightmare to code.
