    Hey Guys!

I hope i can post it here.
    XMG P507 (2016) Skylake
    System Model P65_67RSRP
    Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz, 2601 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
    BaseBoard Product P65_67RSRP
    GTX 1070 8gb
    2x8gb samsung ddr4 2133mhz
Windows 10 Pro (retail) 1803 (actual version)
    most recent bios (2017) 1.05.08

    Short version:
My notebook keeps crashing even after open chrome or firefox but sometimes works fine even with heavy load by R6 siege , Divison 2, etc for hours.

    Long version:
I just figured out if i let my pc idle or windows locked mode and then i come back and start any 3D heavy app a hard crash appear. I tried to reinstall the windows with different version (1803,1809,1903) but the very next day after the installation this problem come back. I installed the latest drivers from https://www.mysn.de/driver/1_XMG/XMG_P507_P707/ here and even bought Obsidian tool too. So far no fix for my problem. Windows Memtest no error, cpu test no error, sfc no problem, well furmark no error for most of the time except when it instant crash the notebook at the very moment i start it. When its ok it can run for hours without problem. My latest succes was with the chipset\MEI driver install/uninstall previous/newer version at EVERY WINDOWS START so its work until i shut down my notebook.

im really frustrated because the diagnostic tools cannot find any problems but non windows version / drivers seems okay. I cannot upgrade / downgrade the bios version because i only have this 1.05.08 to download. I asked for help from XMG, PC Specialist, local IT forum, and here but so far no reply.

Thank you for your time to read this long post.

What exactly do you mean by "crash"? BSOD, sudden shutdown, etc?

That's definitely what I was thinking, after reading HOURS and HOURS of this forum before purchasing (wanted to make sure there was no problems) I thought this fit perfectly within my budget and what I wanted.

The worst part is, I can't resell this thing with a clear conscience knowing that whoever would buy it would face my issues and be stuck with nothing more than a standard laptop that can't play any high end games.

Sounds a bit like a fault with the NVidia graphics. Have you tried switching between MSHYBRID & DISCRETE modes and retesting? Is there any useful info in Event Viewer?

Consistent issues with a unit usually results in replacement. I'm surprised some solution was not reached.

That's what I've been trying to get, at LEAST a replacement unit. If after an RMA has been issued and I'm still getting problems, at some point I would think the simplest solution would be to simply give me a replacement unit? I'm not even asking for an upgrade, just please give the same unit that works....

As of March 20th, they said a Eurocom representative would be in touch with me to sort this out, today is April 28th, so a month and a bit. I would have reached out sooner, but I've already spent the last almost two years chasing them and my unit's problems. Not to mention, I don't have the luxury of free time to be constantly calling them.

Right now, all I can do is put Eurocom on blast, and hopefully someone here will avoid the same mistakes I did.

I will be reaching out to them soon, if it isn't resolved (they've had a month and a bit) I'm **** out of luck ahha.

Got my HyperX impact 2x8 2666cl15-ram yesterday. Experience so far: It enabled itself on auto to run at 2666cl15-15-15 without me having to do a thing. I tested it using Aida64. With 2133cl15 running at 2400cl14-16-16 I got 33700MB\s read and 61.5ns. Stock 2666cl15-17-17 gave me 34500MB\s and 65ns. I thought that was a bit slow so I checked with bios and I used to run tRFC at 270 with the 2400cl14-ram. It was set to 467 on auto with the 2666cl15-ram. I lowered it and got it down to 420 stable, 410 won`t boot. Read went to 36500MH\s and latency to 63ns. I have tried lowering other values, but system wont boot. Compared with my desktop running i5 8400 with 2666cl14-16-16 tRFC 350 1.35V the laptop-ram is significantly slower. Desktop does 38900MB\s read and has 58ns latency. Guess that extra 0,15V makes the difference. Will try some additional testing later :) Haven`t really looked at gamingperformance yet.

Most faster sodimms do tend to set a silly high tRFC for some reason.
