I assume the 850 EVO or PRO which are the most common larger capacity ones around.

The Panther 5 (P570WM) can be configured with:

    6-Core Ivy-E Extreme CPUs or 12-Core Xeon Ivy-EP CPUs
    32GB DDR3 2133Mhz ram
    3 x 2TB SSD with a Blu-Ray Burner or 4 x 2TB SSD without an optical drive
    17.3" 90% NTSC AUO Display or a 120hz 1080p Display
    2x 980M SLI
    2x 330w AC Adapters w/Converter Box

It is still one of the fastest laptops available, with only the GT80S Titan beating it in GPU performance. CPU wise it's still the fastest laptop available.

They can be ran at 1.275 or 1.2V Does not really matter to much. I think they were ran at 1.275V that time though.

in cpu tasks uses 4 cores or less only then the newer laptop would come out on top simply cause mutithreaded performance skylake dominates ivy hard by 15-20% which is a decent jump, after almost 3yrs of wait..

but yea gt80s, gpu power limited lol

How did you even get to find out the gt80's are power limited...Can't get anyone to really test that machine to find out what it's suppose to really do.

The GT80S supports dual 330w adapters doesn't it? Only reason I can think of it being power limited would be the vBios.
