    Of course there a "faster" versions! But you won't notice it in real life usage, other then benching.

    1600Mhz will work right out of the box. Anything higher requires Ivy-Bridge (1866Mhz out of the box).

    So if you plan reaching 2133Mhz levels RAM tweaking is needed. Should be easier with Ivy-Bridge, cause Sandy-E is a a pain in the a** when it comes to RAM tweaking anything above 1600Mhz. My experience so far....

    Then you should be fine with 1866Mhz out of the box I guess! ;)

    The fastest you can run ram in here is 2400 mhz xmp profile.
