    thanks. I like the openings above cpu and gpu.
    if the Nb55 doesnt have them, I have to do that on my own :(

    I think both have them. thare are usually only aestetic changes with different codes

    does anyone have all the supported Display Models parts name used in models NB50TK/NB50TJ/N950TP6?
    15.6 "1080p 60Hz 45%
    15.6" 1080p 60Hz 74%
    15.6 "1080p 144Hz
    15.6" 1080p 120Hz

    Has anyone tried putting an external GPU with this? Seems like an easy way to get away with a 8700 and a 1080ti, while using the integrated 1050ti at work or something.

    I don't think they do, just a USB type C port.

    You wouldnt use either for Egpu as, but the pcie x4 slot, and to its credit the thing has two of them. TB# performance is terrible for egpu, but PCIe on the nvme I suppose its doable, or in theory. since the bandwidth is far more.

    check the N350TW for that, desktop cpu and no dgpu there
