I have two extra heatsinks (one master, one slave) might need some tools though to modify them. Also have a extra SLI cable.

Just need the cards and dual PSU adapter at that point to really test them. I'm afraid of the slave slot not accepting the card. We can remove the subwoofer but there might be other clearance issues.

EDIT: Yo @Rengsey R. H. Jr. you might wanna confirm it has 980 SLI and not 980M SLI. From the listing "specs"

    MSI GT80S Titan SLI 257
Does not include OS will need to be installed
    • Intel® Core™ i7-6920 HQ Processor 2.9Ghz 3.8 W/intel Turbo
    • 18.4" Full HD Anti-Reflective Wide View Angle Display (1920 x 1080) IPS Level
    • NVIDIA GTX 980M SLI 8GB GDDR5

It's the Desktop 980. I usually look for specs on the packaging. I noticed the 980m on the listing. Packaging will say what its true specs.

where did you get this 980? I'd be in for like 4 lol

EDIT nvm saw you bought a barebones. Hella jealous, I would have loved to turn my M18x into a 980 SLI machine.

@ssj92 @Raidriar , take a look at the screen shot of the GPUz of the GTX 980, is the BOOST clock in the Default suppose to display " 0 " ?

Not a clue, never worked with a 980 core so I don't know how its supposed to behave. I'd ask @Khenglish

It should show proper boost. When I had 980 (Clevo) it showed everything properly.

Might just be a GPU-Z bug. If I see another one of those MSI barebones I might cop one.

Let me know if you're down to test it in the M18x sometime.
