I can't get 3DMark06 and 03 to run for some reason. 3DMark06 errors out sometime after halfway and says this.

3DMark03 just BSOD after it starts running. Any ideas what would cause this?

That error is common and more than one thing can cause it. I get the same error and a freeze at the very end of Test 1 in 3DMark06 with Afterburner running. Shut down MSI Afterburner and it will most likely finish... does for me.

What about 3DMark11? Does your screen go black and your system lock up like mine does?

Thanks, I will give that a try. Yeah I do have that problem with 3DMark11 every so often. It goes black or just freezes in genera.

What's the status regarding the CPU overclocking in the R2? Why doesn't the 3920XM shine? Any BIOS limitations?

As far as I know, the 3920XM is still being held back by the lack of an unlocked BIOS. It actually does really well considering the BIOS setting limitations. The Ivy Bridge 3720QM and 3820QM also have the ability to adjust multipliers, unlike the 2760QM and 2860QM and they are also performing quite admirably.

Is it just me or is this thread missing some serious 680M love?

Seriously, I went on vacation for like a week and did I miss 680M benching? Or is there another issue holding up some better comparisons between the 680M and the 7970M?
