Hello everyone! I own a Dell Alienware Area 51m R2 Dark Side of the Moon.

The display of the laptop is the following:
    17.3" FHD (1,920 x 1,080)
    144 Hz
    9 ms
    300-nits 72% NTSC colour gamut
    NVIDIA-GSYNC technology
    Tobii Eyetracking technology

I want to replace the LCD Screen with a similar one (LCD Screen Complete set) but with 360Hz and G-Sync.

I 've searched everywhere (I think) and cannot find anything to buy. All I find is screen sets with 144Hz like the following: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/133709567768?epid=14045540450&hash=item1f21b61718:g:kfMAAOSwdCNgY5Yz

Can anyone help me find a link to buy an LCD Screen set with 360Hz and G-Sync for the Dark Side of the Moon Area 51m R2?

    Thank you in advance!

G-sync on a 300 or 360hz is not necessary, in my opinion. I use to like G-sync but on higher refresh rates and faster respond time i never noticed any screen tearing. But i am not an expert on the subject. I would still recommend faster respond time and higer refresh rate before G-sync.

    Hi everyone!

I have 2933 Mhz RAM sticks installed on my area 51m r2.

If I upgrade to 3200 Mhz RAM sticks, will it work?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks in advance!

    If you could choose:

300Hz without Gsync and 100 Adobe RGB
144Hz 99% SRGB with Gsync but in Dark Side Colour

What would you do? Is the 300Hz panel good? What is the manufacturer of the 144Hz panel?

i have had both. Color accuracy of the 144Hz with G-sync is a little better then the 300Hz 3ms no-Gsync (i compare them side by side on a system exchange). And the 144Hz has 400nits vs 300 for the 300Hz.
The main advantage of the 300Mhz is it's fast respond time while playing fast past games like, COD black ops.

I would take the 300Hz over the 144Hz in my case. The fast respond time while gaming gave me a rush i never experienced with the 144Hz. Color are still in the very good range but not excellent and nits are just fine (i don't use my laptop outside).

    Hello sir SPARTAN!
Can you please help me to restore the original OS on my Alienware Area51m-R2, because i`ve bought it from the internet in a used condition but the first user had not created a restore/recovery disc or image!

    My specs are:

    Alienware Area51m-R2, Dark Side of the Moon, I9 10900k, 16GB 2933MHz upgraded to 64GB XMP, RTX2080Super, NVME 0 512GB 970Pro, NVME1 512GB PM981, SATA3 2.5" 4TB.

I ve reinstalled Windows 10 Pro using Alienware OS Recovery Tool and a USB Drive but my system seems incomplete.

Hope that you can help me with my issue!

Thanks and I must say that your review posted on Youtube with the A51m-R2 Review made me to choose this device.

So please to reupload the image for restoring my Alienware to original Factory Install of Windows 10 and Alienware OS Support Assist.

Thanks you and KUTGW (keep up the good work).
