Going to stay AWAY from Windows 11, I don't expect M$croSloth to have it working for at least 12 months after release.
Everything is a BETA now if not an ALPHA we are living Ideocracy.

On 1.5.0 there is no throttle. I can hit 100C on CPU and idk how high but I have hit up to 90C on GPU before without throttle.

That's what makes it a nice firmware.

"Stock" as in set everything to default settings, AWCC should have no OC profiles, fan profile set to balanced or performance is fine. No MSI Afterburner curves, clock offsets etc. You can use your vapor chamber heatsink thats fine, just need the clock speeds for cpu/gpu to be running their natural values.

I'd like to see what this new firmware can do. Thanks

Speaks to my ignorance per my previous post :p

I downloaded the PC Health Check app from Windows Update when it was suggesting an upgrade to Windows 11 to check compatibility and I think it said my PC is not compatible lol. Hence my question!

    Thanks bud

Maybe that's it? Both of my external monitors I leave "powered on" so they are in sleep mode when the laptop powers on. I'll try this and see what happens. Thanks for the suggestion!

Microsoft just can't stop screw up. And you all will be guinea pig the first year if you install it now. Win 11 will stay a long time in beta phase 1.

Microsoft confirms false “This PC can’t run Windows 11” error

If you have a supported device, but you're seeing the error "This PC doesn't currently meet all the system requirements for Windows 11" on the Windows Update page, you're not alone.

I live by the common sense rule to avoid a new Microsoft OS' for about 18 months.
