It should still be there. I'm on the newest Bios and AWCC version and it's still there. the only thing they took away is the temp slider on the GPU, but you get that back if you replace the "Profiles.zip" folder with a version from last year.

The advanced view sitll there, you need "profile.zip" from older alienware command center to set gpu temperatures.

I have a crazy issue with my alienware, the machine turns itself off randomly, sometimes once a day, sometimes once a week sometimes twice a day.

Ive replaced thermal pads (which seem to help) and thermal paste is fine, the thermals are way below 60C. My laptop often turns off when im doingloading or leave it to work overnight.

Ive removed the battery and Im connecting both adapters.

    Please advise!

Hello folks, back with more questions. Currently on BIOS 1.3.2. Any reason to upgrade, and if so what's the new consensus on best version without throttling? Trying to get my AGA and 3080 to work more reliably.

I've been 1.5.0 for as long as I can remember and have had 0 issues as this was the last version that did not throttle. To be honest, can't remember what it gives over 1.3.2 so you are probably safe to stay where you are at.

1.3.2 is the version i am running still. I dont see a reason to update because anything past 1.5 throttles the GPU every few seconds while playing any games.

There's a fix for that now, but yeah 1.3.2 should be what people get on their 3k€+ machine.

What is the fix? Sorry I've not been around in a while and I'm on 1.7.3 and still have the 75c limit unless I uses the Asus GPU Tweak tool.

Honestly I just replace the zip in the directed folder with the one linked in the thread before the AWCC has a chance to start it's services and it unlocks for me.
