Did you follow all the steps in the exact order? From the posts I was referring to... should be straight forward, that’s odd

When ever I change priority #1 from what it currently is, windows boot manger, to the nvme i created it blue screens...I installed the nvme driver after cloning though..Do i need to re clone with reflect?

I bought some usb sticks today, can I just load a new OS install, and load the image I saved with say like acronis or amoei? Been awhile since I have done this although I have done it quite a few times.

Also Im not seeing the priority and secondary stuff u mention in bios. There is the boot sequence stuff, with the first one being windows boot media, then two nic things for #2 and #3

This is grooling work, its why I always just let the manufactuer screw with this crap but dells offerings for HDD is horendous, so bad I couldnt justify doing it.

My cloned drive is showing up as D though, is it not suppose to do that,

Can I just do a fresh install with the sshd disconnected then use an image from acronis as a workaround to this crap?

Boot sequence would be the priority.

The easiest to do is, do the recovery image backup onto a USB drive. Shut down the laptop, pop the new drive and boot with the image from the USB.
