Not when Dell does not pay for anything until it gets pulled to production floor. Supplier holds the cost till then.

They’re all weird for me, not pics of the heat sinks. Are others seeing the same?

I think from the pics shared that the heat sink that the new one is compared to is the 2060 heat sink, but I’m unsure. Anyone see that it doesn’t have the small side heat sinks?

No, I'm saying its pleanty powerful on one PSU...and when my office is finished and it stays there it will be on both 99 % of the time...like...oh...a DESKTOP REPLACEMENT LAPTOP. Kinda how it was marketed. It was not meant, nor marketed, nor reviewed as anything but that.

Caveat emptor if u don't do basic homework.

Golly...you want light by a m17. Or a razor blade..or any of the LIGHT AND PORTABLE lp that are Not Advertised as a DESKTOP replacement.
And your premise is wrong...im not seeing a 50% drop on one PSU..
    Ima hyperventilating here...

    Hi

This is on special in new zealand:

    https://www.dell.com/en-nz/shop/lap...acd=10589619862341422&VEN3=111405085131690796

I guess the heatsinc would need to be changed for a future upgrade?

Also ships with 180w psu, which seems small for the 9700?

With the base screen would you get optimus support for graphics switching? With this what do you think battery life would be like doing web browsing and video playback?

    Thanks

Guys, may the Reason for the Season brighten this Christmas Holiday for you and your loved ones.

Be careful of cancer firmware. It's a jungle out there.
