What are you using to get your benchmarks to display like that?

I don't really care about memory upgrades or revisions as long as they keep this crippleware active. 2666 support will involve upgrading the bios and thus activating a useless laptop for gaming. I don't understand how they get away with this. There 15/17 models cap at 100 degrees and you are told that those temps are "normal" yet i can't have a gpu go above 79 before the whole laptop becoming useless.

100C on Cpu doesn’t kill the graphics:) And from what I have read... If they add in memory support which finally reach Intel’s specs(2666) it could be this is possible without bios upgrade. Ernie at Dell said if it comes it will be done via Dell’s software app (ACC). But of course... Force you over on new and the safer bios upgrade is probably what they prefer. Then let you do Memory tweaking in Dell’s own app.

It's always a main/calculated reason behind not to offer the same they have done for all their other Aw models the last two years.

Dell sell 2666 memory for ram upgrade on old + the new Aw/Dell BGA books. But don't expect a easy task when and <if> they add 2666 memory support for the Area-51.

As you can see... It's not that easy.

I remember that a CPU failure would also mean RAM power failure (according to boot sequence).. here is where you have to do measurements to identify the cause of the problem, DELLs color codes are not always accurate.

Anyway, why don't you guys first of all test the motherboard with some cheap components, putting there a brand new 9900k CPU with no clue what is happening with the motherboard first might result with a brand dead new 9900k CPU.. I'm telling this from experience, just saw so many times this kind of pain..

I am feeling sorry for people who don't use forums and bought a laptop for gaming which does not work at the moment with the newest updates >_>

Well, I just received my second 51m, after 4 month dealing with the support. And I already found a dead pixel...

It seem its the green component is dead. When displaying pure red or pure blue, no dead dot. When displaying pure green, dead dot :/

And if they replace the panel, it will be a refurbished one...
