Good Job bro! I would like to see some results :) CB R20, R15, Battlefield Temps? Stock and 5g? A HWinfo screenshot would be great! 72 Degree @4.7ghz Cinebench R20 sounds unbelievable  If that is real i will redelidd with copper IHS :D

I will get into benchmarks on the coming weekend when I have relatively more time. Even this too I had to start at 10 in the night and end up spending all night on it lol. But I'd recommend the delid with copper IHS if you have a 9900K anyway. The difference in temps is too much to give up, especially considering the form factor of this machine. Also depends on the luck. I know some guys who got hot lemons that thermal throttled even after delid haha! So you need luck in this case as much as some liquid metal. :D

    This one:
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FFMMMSD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Limited stock. :p Just keep in mind though that this is an 8th gen IHS so you will have to seat it properly with silicon as the dye height is taller for 9th gen chip. If it was available at the time of buying, I would have ordered this instead:

Thanks for the detailed response and letting me know how much I need.

Going to look around a bit, as I dont really have $100 to drop on pads. Might go with something a little less extreme. Something between Arctic pads and Fujipoly extreme.

Edit: Think I'll go with the regular Fujipoly Extreme. Quite a bit cheaper. Would cost about $45 for 2 x 1mm and 1 x .5mm.

I'd personally prefer the 17w/mk rating over any price tag as that's what matters. If you can go higher than that though, that'd be even better.

edit: lol 100*15mm 25 dollar+shiping Fujipoly <-> 145mm*145mm Arctic 18 euro shipping incl. ... Thats more than 10 times the price XD

The engineer change with a new heatsink which came with paste on it, and he make sure the heat sink was tight and well, perhaps the paste that dell puts is not great at all, but since they are facing lots of problem with overheating they should have a good paste I believe.
