Is the 9900k really ~50-70% better than the 8750H?

Can anyone offer some guidance on how Xotic is getting this kinda pricing? Am I missing something. I just looked myself, and sure enough, for the list price at Dell, I can basically get an upgrade from 8GB -> 64GB, a backlight bleed and pixel guarantee, and a 2yr warranty for free. PLUS all the cooling stuff like pads and liquid metal. Seems like a no-brainer unless I'm missing something.

Nice test. Seems I can rest easy on my 9700K choice. :)

    Found this for EU ppl:

    https://www.onlinekabelshop.nl/stroomkabel-met-1x-c5-1x-c13-plug-y-kabel-1-8-meter

Is it confirmed that this is will fit? If so, I'll buy it right away.

On some benchmarks like xtu benchmarks I saw over double scores than mine, around 3K posted, not quite sure 9700 or 9900 one and how much that implemented on real gaming FPS.
This is my multiple run 8750H score, not even 1,5K mostly on 1450ish.

Colour wise compared to qhd 120 hertz on r4/r5 it’s better, but the low resolution is notecable on windows and games and it’s not as bright 300 nits v 400 nits. Games look sharper on the qhd when I set my r5 next m51, but it’s not to bad. Still feels like a step backwards with resolution though.

The overall footprint of the m51 is smaller than the r4/r5 an I do prefer the overall look of it.

The sound on the m51 is inferior as there is no sub woofer sadly compared to r4/r5, disappointing for premium product.

Attached image of the back in black.

Will add some further comments soon.

Incidentally having issues installing nvidia 418.91, I’ve tried ddu, no joy. The error I get is can’t find nvidia hardwear and not comparable with windows.. any ideas. I’ve checked I have the right driver I’ve also tried both desktop and notebook drivers and windows is uptodate.
Has anyone else had this issue and installed the latest 418.91 driver on their m51? Also tried disabling nvidia gtx2080 in device manager - no joy.

Try looking in monoprice.com, it’ll probably be cheaper!

    Just install Drivers from http://premamod.wordpress.com/

Dont forget to disable driver signature enforcement! It works!

I own this stand. The angles are nice to have. Cooling is pretty meh. You'll probably get 2-3 cooling with it from my experience. And at max speed it's fairly quiet
