Yea I run it at 4.6ghz fro gaming with a -170v. Runs at 50's and not too demanding games and 60's in the more demanding. Overall I am still plenty satisfied with my area 51m setup.

So it sounds like from a temperature standpoint, the 9900KS is working pretty well then? Maybe I'll have to keep my eye out for some sales...

Yes the KS IMO is a great CPU for this laptop, honestly my only struggle ( as is everyone else’s here ) is dialing in the best GPU FAN settings / I’m on BIOS 1.5.0 and the latest 180W VBIOS, the FAN profiles are not optimal and I can’t understand the AWCC manual fan profile “builder” I don’t like running at thermal PERFORMANCE or FULL all the time I’d like to be able to modify the BALANCED setting so that the fans kick in sooner and go higher, then drop with temps, so far not much luck with that.

If only someone smarter then me could figure out some way to get control of the fans I feel most of the issues would go away.

Maybe you can make an screenshot while R20 is running? And HWinfo on top, so that we can see clocks and temps during the run :)

4400 points sounds more like 4300 mhz allcore as the 9900k scores 4800 points at stock clocks (4700 mhz).

I was just asking :) you claim 5000 allcore at 81 max... I was just asking for a screenshot while running R20... Not more...
