I believe it can be used similarly, what are you using it for, like dell support stuff?

So I put my 9700k back in and what do you know it goes to 210000 easy.. On both power limit so definitely a compatibility issue for now unless dell adds it later but idk if that will happen, so the most I can get stable is 4.7ghz on all cores without throttling by power, soo.. Stock 9900k speeds, should I take it back and get the 9900k? Or do you guys think 9900ks will be added for support at some point and just keep it?[IMG]

Everything is wired to dGPU except TB3. You will lose TB3 and Intel QuickSync.

Somewhere here is running 9900KF and I think there was another member here running 9900KS.

@EepoSaurus had similar issues with his 8700K.

    Maybe he can chime in

You're most likely hitting VR current limit and not power limit. Do you have access to VR limits? If not, undervolting should help you push the ceiling higher.

It is a VR thing I'm pretty sure, but bios shows 131000 as max limit [IMG]

Good to know. Not a huge lose if you don’t need thunderbolt. ;)

When you set Core IccMax to 255 amps, does it persist after a reboot?
