    Hi all,

    Just got my Area 51m 64GB 2080 1TB SSD and 1TB SSHD
    So far:
    1. Did all updates both Dell and Windows.
    2. Had to reinstall Killer Control centre as Error appeared from doing the Dell updates?
    3. Updated to Windows 10 Pro
    4. The tobi tracking OR is the screen causing eye strain?
-Have lowered the brightness but still persists, why?
-Have not installed the tobi app or taken the plastic off tobi area.
    5. Now what Fusion setting do you have yours set on?
Currently streaming a series, playing youtube video, have an android game open, 7 websites and transfering 500GB from external sata via usb to SSHD drive.
Have it Overclock off in Command centre(Home) but Fusion has green on OC1, High performance and Performance thermals and the CPU fan is pushing 100C?
How do I get the CPU temp down?
Have it sitting on a couple of mats on table.

No offense, but I can't really tell if your asking questions or making statements with your punctuation. But congrats on the new laptop!

If it's night time, try turning on night mode for windows 10 in the display settings.

Idk if Dell did something with the newer ones but they should have "eye care" which should reduce strain not increase it.

For temps, turn off OC level 1, and leave it at stock. Should perform just as good and reduce temps. You can try undervolting CPU by -100mV as well using Intel XTU or Throttlestop.

    I don't have a stock option?
Front screen says Overclock OFF but Fusion has green on OC1?
It just says Overclock 01, Overclock 02 and New Profile in Fusion?

    Edit: Updated original post......
Still 100 degrees 4.69 CPU and transfer finished and tv series playing finished...usage 30-47%?

Overclock off sounds right. As long as it's off on the front screen, it should be off.

New Asus Laptop uses Quadro RTX 6000 24GB GDDR6 (at 220W+) w/ Core i9-9980HK in relatively thin body. Seems NVidia are pushing new thermal design with Titanium vapor chamber.

Also, a UHD 120Hz screen! Just imagine this in a Gaming Laptop.

Do I need to restart to get the CPU off 100 degrees?
