Isn't there HIDevolutions guys in this forum? Did they get any yet? If not, when are they expecting them....
Dell keeps cancelling orders to give themselves more time, meaning something is wrong or they really don't have parts.... So I'm guessing HIDevolutions will get their stock when everybody else gets their orders...

Well dell got back to me again and said it's a powersupply issue. So I guess the wrong one was used in their system for my order. So when I call tomorrow and they can give me the right one and send it asap I'll forgive them. If however they give me some story I'll canacel and go else where with my money.

Right now my top choices are an Alienware m15 with rtx 2060 from hidevolution and graphics amp or the new Lenovo Y740. They have a 17" 2080 max q version for aroun $2300 and roughly $120 for a three year warranty and accidental coverage. Plus they claim same day shipping. So one of them will gladly take my money.

    I can't seem to catch a break can I @hmscott ?

Well, that's why I was saying the 20th or so of this month. And was really curious as to folks getting them before then. Especially if in the USA. At CES they said after the 20th

Maybe demand has outstripped supply - also not being helped by Chinese New Year and staff holidays perhaps?

I was about to order today (after finally getting permission :D), but going to hold on for now and give it a bit more time until I see how things unfold on here as you guys start taking ownership.

Hoping Dell sort this out quickly - but doubt it! :p

DDR4 has been out for so long and I think 2667MHz should be standard when competitors ship out 2667MHz out of the box with factory firmware that works 100% w/o needing a FW update.

My order shipped today .. so usually take a week from China to uk.

Looking at the service tag there is no details about the screen manufacturer. I got the 144 screen gsync.

Re memory speed it does say 2666mhz despite 2400 MHz being listed on the dell website (what I ordered).

Wonder if we will get the devision 2 as in uk it now lists as included with tobi eye tracking. (Didn’t list this when I ordered).

The problem is, it's just not that simple. If it was, it would have been done a long time ago. Back when we first started asking for higher spec'd ram.

    Hey bro!
I also waiting for one in UK. Its been shipped yesterday and delivery ETA is 19 February.
Re. memory - on invoice is 2400Mhz but service tag is 2666Mhz
I placed my order on January 29th and that time it was (Call of Duty BO with Intel 9900K) later they change it to (Division 2 with Tobii eye tracking)
I'm sure we will get one of this two games.

Just ordered order a Area 51m!

I had it in the basket for over a week, thinking keep my 13r3 or upgrade..

    I'm from the UK

    Spec list;

    Alienware Area-51m

    9th Generation Intel® Core™ i9-9900K (8-Core, 16MB Cache, up to 5.0Ghz w/Turbo Boost)

Windows 10 Home 64bit, English, Dutch, French, German, Italian

    NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 2080 8GB GDDR6 (OC Ready)

    Lunar Light

    17.3" FHD (1920 x 1080) 144Hz Anti-Glare IPS Display w/ NVIDIA G-SYNC + Tobii eyetracking technology

    Killer N1550 Wireless driver

    8GB, 2x4GB, DDR4, 2400MHz

    256GB PCIe M.2 SSD

180W Power Adapter and 330W Power Adapter

Got it all for £2400 give or take a few quid.

CPU wise I wanted a 8700K (and delid it) but they don't supply them, thinking of maybe selling the 9900K if it's too hot and go through the 8700K route as it will overclocker better and be cooler.... hmmm

Delidding the 9900k is much harder than the its predecessor.
