Of just let it burn on its own and then you will have authentic smoke and flames !!!

They are unbalanced? Probably need to be replaced.

I did myself also a repad last weekend and only used 2.0mm and 1.5mm on some places. I can say my gpu (rtx 2700) dropped from 70c to 64c with Thermal Grizzly kryonaut on performance mode and playing Metro. I'm happy with it. But on the other end i also use kryonaut to repaste CPU and from 36c on idle now i get 48c. And playing i was from 88c with same performance mode and without undervolt, to 99c :/

I'm guessing this is happening now because maybe my outside temps is 28c? Before when i tested was 22c.

P.S. Sorry if it's not perfectly spread the kryonaut, but It's my second time doing a repaste in my life. ;) [IMG][IMG]

Edit: another image from behind the gpu where i also put some pads.

    Well, another problem

No sound on right side when using headphones or external speakers. Internal ones works fine.
    I tried drivers delete/reinstall, nothing.
I reinstalled windows (1903), same issue.
Issue on both of the 3.5 connectors.

And yes, balance is set correctly :/

So, sound problem + non centered screen + fans vibration/noise.
Can they swap the entire machine for that? (its already a swap machine from my 17r3)

    Im tired of Dell products.

edit: actually the right side emits sound, but very very low even when the balance is 100% right, tester with 3 heaphones

Need 16GB free space from your fixed storage, The download package near 1,6GB, Forced to use Windows 10, Other installed overclocking applications may interfere (most likely) with this tool, Some BIOS configurations may prevent the tool from achieving the maximum OC, Intel Watchdog Timer Driver must be Enabled, Long time to tune in the overclock and as usual Intel prefer put safe high voltage more as +1.5v (even for a moderate overclock).

Yeah, A lot of downsides and almost no benefits with this new Intel OC tool. I will continue use ThrottleStop with the superior Prema firmware. Won't spend time on this. Will it be a success? Not for the enthusiasts who like fiddle with own hardware. And I'm not even sure this new tool will be a success to hook up the less interested aka the Average Joe.

Note sure, vibrations only occures at 40%. If it was a balance issue the vibration would be stronger as the fans accelerate.

Did you replace the pad on the underside of the GPU?

Not bad for $2100. Pretty solid deal. I paid a couple hundred more for mine, with 9700k. Which I assume is what you meant?
