I don't know if you already fix this, because i reading late on this thread and it's difficult to keep on new posts lol. I have the same problem yesterday after trying to install the update. And i fix it with:

    1. Uninstall with revo, and clear registry.
    2. Reboot, and go windows store and download again Alienware Command Center.
    3. Run alienware CC and it's going to ask to update. Try to Install. If the same error comes just try again to install but know choose to extract files for a folder on your PC.
    4. Go to folder and right click on exe and run as admin and install.

That fix also the pop-up screen to ask to update everytime you start the computer.

DIY palm rests for my Area 51m cut from a waterproof leather-like vinyl sheet.

Dual 330w psu users - do you turn off warning in bios or just click thru each boot up ?

Self adhesive? Wonder if dbrand has / will have something could use

I used this sheet from Amazon. Amazing stuff I must say! I had a transparent carbon fiber skin on before but it was fading fast so I got rid of it and installed these instead.

I never get a warning with 2 330 or one 780 with duel plugs.

I'm sorry man, I don't like the look of it at all. It looks like the laptop is injured and you've put some plaster over the broken areas. No offense brother, just an observation. I liked your white carbon fiber skin a lot better...

Different strokes for different folks I suppose...

Yall, recently got my extra heatsink. Turns out i actually had installed my primary drive with a Dell heatsink already XD.

My primary (OS) 1tb 960 pro is running REALLY HOT after a few seconds of writes using crystal or ATTO (87C or higher with max fans) and for some reason maxing out at around 1.8gb/s to 2gb/s writes and around 2.5gb/s reads. It performed over 3gb/s for both reads and writes in previous laptops like an Asus Zephyrus.

My secondary PCIE is a 950 pro which is located ironically much farther away from the fans and doesn't seem to be overheating from what I can tell. Its performing around the same speed or even in some cases slightly faster than my 960 pro...

I really don't want to keep having to unnecessarily open my laptop. Are these high temps and low ssd speeds typical?
