Try one of those mini ITX systems?

From what I have read so far, I am still at page 892 (25 April), Dell have admitted of fitting an incorrect VRM, which burns out at higher voltages, literally burns, and I assume this destruction/shorts/bridges may send bad electricity down the lanes zapping SSDs and RAMs etc

Does anyone know if the GTX 2070 version also has issues?

I am about to buy that one with the amplifier

    Another question:

Is it complicated to repaste this? I have build many desktops before and repasted 1 laptop

I can get a free 9900K in a month so thinking of buying this with 9700 and 2070 to stay "safe" from errors and use the external gpu more for heavy work

The 2070 has had very few issues compared to the 2080. I recall 3 2070s dying, one of those was mine.

I also wonder if I should not stay on a 2070 rather than the 2080.
it is not for a purchase but a replacement machine for a 17R3 (i7 / 980M). And considering the 2080 option is not available anymore on the dell website...
I just hope i wont regreat with a lower spec graphic card.

Does anyone happen to know of a program like Notepad that has transparency/overlay, so it will stay on top of whatever I'm doing and not stick out too much?

I found the regular Evo not the Plus for the 2TB Capacity on Amazon. You got a link for the 2TB plus on Amazon?
