    That's good to hear. ;)

Sometimes simply restoring the computer back to Factory State resolves issues with corrupted files and whatnot. Windows updates also interfere with system performance from time to time, and a restore gets rid of that issue. I recommend adjusting the settings for Windows updates and just checking them every now and then. A lot of them are not necessary, and the one's labeled "important" are often not important at all (e.g. Internet Explorer 11).

Just ordered my 17! First thing I'm doing when it gets here is putting 1 TB SSD drive in that bad boy and making the factory 500 GB a secondary drive. I was going to do a clean install but I might try out the Alienrespawn software and see if it works ok.

It should work fine. I used it for my system.

As soon as you get your laptop, that's the first thing you should do - make a backup using AlienRespawn.

Well i'm typing from mine as i speak! Delivered today, after being sceptical of the negativity on the net have to say it's a lot better than i thought it would be, what a fine constructed machine! I'm impressed... I do have one issue if anyone might know what is happening. When i install my Eset NOD antivirus the laptop freezes on start up, any ideas?

some times they'll do a virus scan during the install process: it might be that but not sure.
