Use ThrottleStop because OC controls uses XTU.

Pardon if this has been posted ... CES reveal of Alienware's GPU upgrade capable laptop ... with 2080 ti ... also, when Linus dismantles and shows the cooling? It looks like they took all of your hard work (modders here) to heart as it seems they are using proper 4 point mounts on their cooling plates ...

Well that's just freaking cool right there.

EDIT - ha, it just went up for sale on their website SANS the 2080 Ti (promised as an 'upgrade' later on), only DDR 2400 memory, Windows HOME and weak storage options (not everyone wants RAID). Really the only thing from the video that transfers to what you can get now is the desktop i9 CPU. All for the low, low price of over $4,000.

I had some trouble searching to find the answer to this, probably just not being used to this forum's search engine. Is it possible to put the QHD 120hz panel in a non G-Sync 17r4?

I'm trying to find the vbios for the r4 with the 60hz uhd panel, i7-7820HK, gtx 1080 8gb. I can find the original vbios for the 120hz panel all day, but unfortunately I can't find anyone with the same setup as me to extract their vbios rom :/

Why do you presume vBIOS would be any different between the two configurations with different screens?

I am pretty sure the GSync / non-GSync vbios is different. So if his UHD panel is non-GSync then the one on Dell's site would not work.

Trust me I've tried the vbios for the gsync panel. It doesn't work. They have different hardware IDs. I need one with the hardware info 10DE 1BA0 1028 0778. I've tried bios that ends in 0000 instead of 0778 but no justice.
