I was considering the 1tb crucial mx300. I know it's not as fast but honestly for what I do it's negligible and significantly more bang for your buck.

    Guys,

I've upgraded LCD from FHD to QHD. But now I can't adjust brightness. It is always 100%.

Can someone help to resolve this issue?

I'm seeing a lot of back on forth on whether or not the display port is connected to the iGpu or dGpu. Anyone know how it's set up on the 1080 variant? I'd love to connect it to an external monitor (or 2 :) ) and be able to run AAA games off the actualy 1080. Any insight?

    thanks!

DisplayPort is connected to the nvidia GPU.

I've got mine connected to a 27" ASUS G-SYNC monitor via a mDP to DP cable and it looks fantastic! (And yes, g-sync works via DP on the external monitor)

Still a great screen. Ones of the best options if you like the color accuracy of ips screens. Its slowest gtg transition is much faster than the slowest gtg transition of my tn pannel. And its processing lag is estimated at 0.75ms. One of the lowest avaliable.
