Don't need to worry about Physics score that much with Fire Strike. The majority of the weight is placed on the GPU. In fact, I lowered my CPU overclock from 4.5GHz to 4.3GHz, got a lower Physics score but an overall higher score... so figure that one out. I don't have a whole lot of confidence in Fire Strike being a good measurement of overall system performance. On top of minimizing CPU performance it favors Windows 8. With exactly the same CPU and GPU overclock I was scoring in the 6300-6450 range. Rebooted to Windows 8, set the clocks and BOOM, extra 400-500 3DMarks for Windows 8 with a lower Physics score, LOL. The exact opposite is true with 3DMark11.

As another example, look back a page or two at Brother fligins score with 920X and it has a low Physics score but a really great overall score with his M17xR2.

No on the voltage. It seemed about the same both ways. I actually completed some runs at 1225MHz on core, but the scores were lower. Your driver tweak did not hurt anything at all, but it did not change as much for me as it appears to have done for you. It's still stable so I will leave it installed.
