"Essentially" he said. It is a 60hz screen. It has a fast response time, I think that's why he said that.

Hello everyone, a question about the temperature of the CPU and GPU on my Alienware 15 r3.
Spec: I5 6300HQ and 1060GTX. repaste with Grizly LM
On the screenshots that were on the forum at all the temperature of the GPU is ~ 58, my temperature is ~ 66, its normal? Or repaste again?

    Aida64+Heaven Benchmark= https://yadi.sk/i/S-RFm5W33REKyS

Is it normal that the temperature immediately drops by 10 degrees after the load falls?

    Thank you in advance

66° GPU temp is good, you certainly don't need to repaste again

Hi again. Today I noticed that the heat pipe on the video card has stopped carrying heat. The external examination showed no damage. Therefore, it was decided to order a cooling system. In my laptop is AT1JM0030C0(https://www.parts-people.com/index.php?action=item&id=25030). I found the store where I have it, but I saw another cooling system for Alienware 15 r3 - ATM1JM002ZCO(https://www.parts-people.com/index.php?action=item&id=24584). Which one is better to buy? And will not there be compatibility problems?

The one with 3 pipes. Should be plug and play. You haven’t warranty anymore?

Hi, anyone knows a good argument for dell support to get the battery replaced? I bought it in april and it now has 26% wear. A few months ago I asked for a screen replacement because I had some dead pixels, and in the meantime I told them that my battery had 17% wear (notice how worse it's gotten), even showed them screenshots. They came up with some bs that it's normal and that the expected lifespan of the battery is only a year. Also, I believe the battery discharges on heavy games

Also if I recall correctly, they also made me show them the Bios where it says "the battery is performing normally", so they leave you cornered there

Dell offer 1 year warranty on theeir battery. Most OEM's offer this. The battery in my 2013 model Alienware 17 is still in good shape (3-4% wear). But it doesn't use the battery as power source when it's conneted to the AC.
