    What game were you playing?

    The witcher 3 i get over 80º with the 1070 and i76700HQ.

Does someone got a guide for undervolting the cpu?

    Thanks!

Is that high or low 80?
Because to me those temps are fine.
As for undervolting this guide is pretty good just remember doing this has its own risks....

    Good luck

    Good Morning guys,

I have done some test on my new machine, on battery and plugged in,

I have played MGS V for 1h20 on battery (from 100% to 8% battery). The fan was running low and very quiet. Here is what I get on battery:

I had an hour break with the laptop then I plugged the power in and played around 1h30 the same game, the fans runs at max, very noisy and the temps are higher, here is what I get:

I don't realy get the difference, the perfs are the same, the game runs on ultra high FPS on both battery and power.

FYI I got this 15r3 3 days ago and I have only done an undervolt of -175Mv

I am interested in the R3's 120hz 400 nits panel
Is there any way to find the Dell Part Number for this? Also; does anyone know if the 120ghz panel on the r3 uses the same 30 pin connector as the 1080p panel on the R2?

battery allows the cpu to boost and remain to a higher power state even with low cpu loads, this create extra heat sometimes but your cpu is more responsive as it is ready to handle high loads without needing to spool up

I'm not sure on DP/N, but the cable is the same as 4K and FHD

Is anyone experiencing heating issues on the left side of the laptop (on left of the tactical keys, above usb)? I'm noticing very warm temperatures even when I'm working on it (Coding - not expensive CPU usage operations)
