Same! Survived one beer spill that shorted the motherboard and a few stripped screws, and its still smashing out everything from indie games to AAA titles.

I do love this laptop. My girlfriend hates it.

    PS Happy New Year!

Screen cable might need to be replaced as well.

    Hi,

new 1.9.0 Bios is out. Flashed it, all good. If anything weird shows up during next few days, will let you know here.

And undervolting still works? Same Intel microcode as previous bios version?

Ommm, I just realised I flashed Bios without removing undervolts first, luckily all went good.

TS shows the same undervolt as before flashing in its settings (they were not re-set), tried to run TS Bench all threads with and without undervolt and yes, undervolt is in full effect=max. reached voltages are different !:)! _\|/_
Re. microcode it is now C6 and/but definitely it is different from last one (AE).

I have all Intel mitigations set to disabled.

Has anyone been having any WiFi issues (Killer 1435) lately? I have been seeing strange behaviour, where all my devices can connect to WiFi except for the Alienware 13R3. I keep on getting the message "Unable to connect to this network." I have tried all the usual tricks, latest driver install, rolling back the driver etc but nothing works. This is a random behaviour which tends to pop up at most inopportune time! Heck, I even convinced the hotel people to let me see the firmware version of their router, and it seems to be all fine.
