    Would this work for windows 7 or just 10?

    Finally was able to achieve more even CPU temps both idle and load:

    All you need to do is bend the screw holding 'arms' of the heatsink a little outward when repasting. This applies more pressure on the die when you screw the heatsink back on.

    I think non-DCH latest version has fixed Optimus issues on windows. Their 6194 version of drivers and above have the fix.

    Only option is to remove existing drivers and also OLED drivers. I think removing Intel drivers will give off blackscreens on bootup.
    Try non DCH drivers:

    The drivers from that link give an error saying that the drivers are not validated for the computer.

    @Pazzazuu

    I am on latest DCH driver and have been using them (updated about 3 already) since they appeared a few months ago.

    To install any any DCH driver, you must uninstall all Intel Graphics driver (s) so when you restart, you only see Windows Generic Driver in Device manager (just like after WIndows10 fresh install, before Updates decide to download Intel driver).

    It is important to disconnect from Internet after such re-start as Windows will try to 'fix' the generic driver by downloading some old Intel Graphics driver.

    After you install DCH Intel driver, you might have to go to Windoes store and download Intel Graphics Control Panel.
    Let me know how it goes.

    EDIT: Do NOT use DDU for uninstalling Intel Graphics driver if you have OLED screen on A13 r3.

    Here is a link to newest DCH:

    Uninstall legacy Intel drivers then install Microsoft drivers. You might have a old Intel driver that is installing right away. Now you should be able to install Intel dch drivers.

    Edit: @c69k We posted at the same time! That timing!

    I'm getting the "Unsupported processor" error when trying to install the DCH driver. Mine is 6700 not 7700. Is there a workaround?
