Just updated to a Samsung 960 Pro 1TB. It’s lightning fast. I had a 256GB before which is definitely NOT enough HD space especially for the new AAA Games out.

I'd say that nvme drives are a bit of a waste of money if you only game on them. If you put big files on it and edit videos for example it would make a lot of sense, but with games you won't notice a difference. I have an additional Samsung 840 Evo and I don't notice any difference between the two drives when it comes to game loading times.

Also, these days you can pick up A Crucial MX500 1TB drive for €139 which is an absolute bargain: https://www.mindfactory.de/product_...-s-3D-NAND-TLC--CT1000MX500SSD4-_1237970.html

Holy ****, those RAM prices have just skyrocketed. I miss the times where you'd pay like €45 for an 8GB stick of RAM

The Samsung 960 Pro does read and write much faster than my previous Samsung 256GB stick.

I have 16 gig stock 2666 ram by Micron, running at 19-19-19-43 (see my post #8012 for pics). I would like to see what timings people get with 2400 ram too. @cn555ic

@capitainealbator What memory do you have currently installed? 2400 or 2666? And how many Gigs? I believe that you will be very happy with the new kit.
