Googled that already. Something about Web-API to read out Device Information. Supposed to work with the Dell Website and Dell Customer Service.
Also a lot of security problems in the past with certificates etc.

Sounds like an unnecessary Spy-Software to me.
Was one of the first bloatwares in uninstalled, along with thre "register" and "update" software.

Whatever it does, disabling it has had no effect on my system. Bloody thing increases CPU temps by about 20 degrees though!

Funny because the dell update program was completely useless. Never triggered an update on its own or provided notification that updates were even available.

Yes, exactly what I thought. This is why I uninstalled it when new drivers where available and i got an "No Updates available" from the update software.
Btw: updated drivers aldready fixed alot of issues for me. eg. a problem with the USB C (Thunderbold) port on the back in combination with a dock. keyboard was repeating commands. this is fixed.
Also the hardware acceleration bug with fullscreen videos. (Got a black screen or crash when going fullscreen on an external monitor)
    Also some perfomance issues.

Yo, I have a problem and Ive been banging my head against a wall trying to fix it. Im curious if anyone has the same problem.

I have the windows 10 taskbar set to autohide. But if I have chrome open, and move my cursor to the bottom of the screen, it doesnt unhide/popup. It takes either minimising chrome or windowing it for this to happen.

Anyone else get this? Anyone know why it happens?

    All hail overlord trump btw
