    I should have used O&O

    I used WPD with Windows update blocker enabled (checked) and i still received an message to reboot my Windows to complete installing an update.

    So i made a recovery point in hope the update will not kill my Windows.

    I can't see that Windows can update your machine if you have killed Win update in services (exactly what Windows update blocker does). WUB is also used by other tools as well. The well known Sledgehammer tool rely on WUB.
