NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080Ti expected to launch by CES 2017. "Just a couple of weeks ago we reported that Nvidia’s announcement that its CEO Jen-Hsun Huang was going to “break news” regarding a new gaming product. A couple of weeks before that we reported on the alleged GTX 1080 Ti specifications that surfaced on the web. Which indicated that the 1080 Ti will, for all intents and purposes, render the GTX Titan X Pascal effectively obsolete. Delivering nearly identical performance with an identical memory capacity at a significantly lower price." -Source

P.S. I believe it will be launched before CES. :) Given the time frame with GeForce Volta being announced in May, and first iterations expected to launch by Fall 2017, they will want to give at least six months to the 1080 Ti before rendering it obsolete.

    No discussion? Hmm, strange.

Well, I'm upset that it has less cores than the Titan X when they can clearly fit more, let alone, the same amount.

1080/Titan XP owners are too busy crying to discuss.

Titan X (Pascal) owners, especially. $1599-$1799 per GPU.

I bought the 1080 knowing the 1080 Ti was coming by the end of 2016... Just needed something. But I still plan on grabbing one. ;)

I bought the titan knowing full well a 1080 TI/1180(based on gp102) is coming. I just dont really care for a more disabled GP102 than it already is on the Titan.

This will let me wait until Volta Titan.

I've cancelled my orders, too. I've decided that Volta is worth waiting for, as it will have a shelf life longer than one generation (as Pascal does).

    May 2017... Can't wait.

I'm in for 1080 Ti... Could use a good 30-40% boost in FPS at 3K UW (3440x1440) over my 980 Ti. Will go for Volta a year later (it won't be here in 2017)

I'm still very happy with my 980Ti's SC, for my needs. Will skip this generation.

Nah. Just that I've never understood people who get upset when something new comes out (or people who want someone to be upset because something new came out - that's even stranger). It's not like it came out on day 31 after the return period expired or like we didn't know there was a good chance of it coming.

I buy a new car, the next model year likely has some improvements. Doesn't make it any less enjoyable.
