    I think it'd be good, but as soon as it messes up, there'll be thousands of gamers wondering why their games are lagging, too oblivious to change settings. But people who buy expensive hardware and don't utilize it always annoy me. Maybe this well help stop it. (Like my friend with a 550ti who plays TF2 at 720p on his 1080p monitor - ugh)

    That's a pretty interesting ... and good ... idea. Takes some of the guesswork (and time) out of trying to get the best settings you can. Would definitely be interested in seeing what the community contribution comes out to.

    the other day I was very critical about this, BUT

    if they implement a target fps option (like evga precision X), then it would be COOL :)
