Because maybe to not make it look a 4 year old gen card superior to RTX 2060 & equal to a Rtx 2070:D or worst almost equal to recycled technology super 2070:p

That chart is their current lineup.

Did anybody see the ridiculous device that Nvidia has chosen to advertise the RTX cards in laptops?

I would rather call it Throttletop:

That is their ultimate aim I'm sure, if we could have all the performance in that form factor without it burning the house down it would be nice.

"Super" Bugbook - goes 2 whole minutes before throttling itself into the nether realm

Let me know when they figure out a way to bypass the laws of thermodynamics.

Or they do it a bit smarter and gimp the CPU from the start so people do not notice the performance they are missing.

Under these circumstances among the blind the one eyed man is king, just look at the Cinebench comparison of the i9-9980 machines:

Looks like it will be some time until we get something (added performance) for nothing (same form factor and cooling) :D

New manufacturing processes or chip architectures are the only way to do that.

To be fair the RTX stuff is almost 2 years old now.. but 1080 is probably still a great 1080p/1440p choice IMO.

EDIT: ok correction 1.5 years :)
