LOL, from the nVIDIA Forums, a Pascal owner complaining:

Yeah if you can force enable it in the driver and it actually works, then there is "support", whether or not you're able to easily turn it on via NCP. No support would be like when they disallowed Shadowplay installing/running on laptops (even dGPU-only ones like mine) even though the driver already had NVENC support (confirmed by using OBS to record via NVENC).

I know I'm nitpicking a bit here, but if you can force it, that's part of the benefits of being on nVidia hardware. If this were AMD, we wouldn't get a chance.

Any word on if Fast Sync is going to happen for Kepler? I thought it would be Pascal-only and I was not certain how it'd play out.

didn't have any issue with 1080 on w7, could be related to how nvidia handles dx12 in w10 that causes the dpc latency and extra compute time needed

Is it wide-spread or is that possibly just an isolated incident?

This seems to say that there are no frame-pacing or stuttering issues or anything like that, and in the past Guru3D has tended to be pretty un-biased from what I have seen: http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/fcat_geforce_gtx_1080_framepacing_review,16.html

dpc doesn't always mean stutter, though in this case I can't really give comments because I'm not experiencing the high dpc myself
