Thank you for making Asus drivers !

You have a way I can do all this without rebooting with DSE disabled? I tried bcdedit.exe /set nointegritychecks on and it didn't actually help.

    What's up @j95
I followed your tutorial when I installed my dell 780m into my m17x r3 120hz, I'm running win8.1, and having hella trouble downloading the latest driver. Nvidia installer keeps telling me "Can't find graphics hardware"... I've disabled driver signing everytime and rebooted before copying over the modded inf and can't figure out the issue.
So when I installed the card, I went thru like 3 different drivers and finally an out dated one took! I was happy to have a working 780m in my system. I'm sorta afraid to run ddu lol but is that what I should do?

    It installed perfectly, thank you!
    However a question:
I left the HDAudio folder, however it did not install HDAudio drivers, is this intentional or I screwed up something? :)

Almost forgot, can someone tell me please which was the last Geforce Experience software which did not have bloatware/telemetry built in?
I am using Shield Controller for some games and games do not detect it without GFE.

Then try right clicking that inf file and hit install. Some models use NvvAD folder that install nvidia virtual audio driver.
Connect HDMI cable and see if the audio works on either HD.Audio or NVVaD.

Secure boot disabled. Elevated command prompt:
    Code:
    bcdedit /set testsigning on

    -> reboot.

    Exit test mode
    Code:
    bcdedit /set testsigning off

I prefer "F8 "method (no watermark). Safe mode, DSE, etc.
    Code:
    bcdedit /set {default} bootmenupolicy legacy

    Download latest nV drivers.
Extracted driver package -> Display.Driver folder -> open nvdmi.inf with notepad.
    Ctrl+H -> Find what: 05AE -> Replace with: 0490
    Check "Match case"
    Hit "Replace all"
Save changes then run setup.exe (driver signing disabled)

    Yep, ASUS requires additional entries.
    Try ASUS_2.zip below.

Here is how I have been doing it since W8.X days. I can install unsigned drivers on the fly. No rebooting, one and done, no fuss, no muss.

Save as DisableDSE.bat, right-click and run as Admin. (Pause keeps the CLI open so you can see confirmation the changes were successful instead of it snapping shut abruptly.) Reboot once for the changes to take effect, and from then on you can install modded drivers whenever you feel like it.

    Code:
    bcdedit -set {default} bootmenupolicy legacy

    bcdedit -set loadoptions DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS

    bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING ON

    bcdedit -set nointegritychecks on

    pause
No nasty watermarks here using the excellent tool from PainteR

    - Supports all builds from Windows 8 to Windows 10.
    - Supports any UI language.
    - Does not delete branding strings (i.e. does not modify system files!).
