I know some people like it, but I do not want GFE on my systems. Shadowplay is a nice feature that works well, but not nice enough for me to tolerate the rest of their cancer payload. I use only @j95 GeFarts driver mods with all of the nasty folders full of bloatware and telemetry trash deleted prior to installation.

This might not be fair of me to ask of you, but do you know why it is that manufacturers don't include MUX switches? MUX switches seem like a perfect solution for practically everyone: use the iGPU when you want, use the dGPU when you want. Are MUX switches substantially more expensive than Optimus or dGPU-only setups?

MUX switches retail are like $10.

Adding them and bulk buying them probably totals to $10.

They will give every excuse why they won't, but they basically just don't want to.

But today there is no need for iGPU at all. You can use a flasher, take a bit longer time though:cool: Hence... Let the BGA people have it (make the BGA silicon 56/44 - aka 44% for the pure cpu). Can yoo hear me Intel?
    This tell everything... From yesterday.

You can flash directly when switched to it. If you get a bad flash, I think you boot with one, then flip the switch while booted and then flash to fix a bad flash, but cannot remember, so don't quote me on that. Now, you want to leave ONE as stock bios, as if you flash BOTH, you then will violate the warranty. Obviously, it is safer to dump both, then just change the LN2 and keep the other as a safe boot BIOS so you ALWAYS have a usable card. It also gives you the room to play a bit and learn a bit.

My performance tests for v390.65, GTX1070:

    - increased the maximum fps in BF3 by 8fps, no noticeable change in average fps

    - decreased my 3DMark scores by 3% e.g. firestrike, 1% e.g. Timespy

    - increased my opengl score in cinebench r15 from 81fps to 100fps given the new option in NVCP to select the openGL processor which i set to GTX1070

Your old driver must've been really old then, because that option was there for a long time.
