    not have been thoroughly investigated and, in fact, may not be NVIDIA issues. Others
    may have workaround solutions.

    I seem to have found a temporary workaround by running the game in full screen and not windowed full screen. It seems to happen a lot less this way. Interestingly enough WoW classic has something similar where if I change some of the settings in the video options it crashes because it " lost my 3d rendering device". But Blizzard still sits on their ass and blames everyone's hardware.

    Did nvidia stop supporting windows 7? Drivers no longer install on my Win 7 GTX 980M Machine

    You're right. Nvidia for some reason decided to stop including the M18x device ID in their driver releases after they'd done it for 3 years. Weird.
