Okay I have all the information now. Xotic said it would not void the warranty unless there is any damage to laptop while replacing. However the new screen won't be covered in the warranty (perfectly reasonable). And according to what eurocom told me 9377 has the 50pin connector on but we need to buy the cable as well

Yes the cable would not be in there, but the connector is probably there, I just never assume when it comes to hardware changes :)

I'm currently in communication with PowerNoteBooks to buy my NP9377-S (with Donald Stratton). Can I have one of those NoteBookReview member discounts of your signature? :D :D

Update: I confirmed with sager that the 9377 has both sockets (50pin and 40pin) soldered on the motherboard so I have ordered the cable from eurocom and the screen from laptopscreen.com. Hopefully it will work. I will post more updates

    I ordered: lg philips lp173wf2(tp)(b3).

The guy at laptopscreen.com said as long as it is tp b they are all the same. Only more recently manufactured. so tp b1 b2 and b3 is the same and they all work on sager np9377

Different revisions can have different specs so it's usually worth checking.

Just an FYI that you can order a 120hz screen from ProStar. I just put in an order for 970m sli and 120hz screen on a Clevo P377SM-A. I called and confirmed that this is in fact a true 120hz screen for only $100 over the standard screen.

Well.....Scratch that for me as Prostar just called me up and said the 120hz screen can only be ordered with a single 980m gpu. Cancelled the order and back on the lookout.....

    Bummer

    Cool.
What's the difference between the P377SM-A and the P379SM-AS of that reseller? They look the same.
