    Hello!

I am currently in possession of a Toshiba Tecra R840 with an AMD dGPU, i7 core (2nd gen) and 8gb of RAM. It has an expresscard port.

From my understanding however, it does not have switchable graphics. Can someone please clarify the importance of switchable graphics for me? Is it that without this, an eGPU will not work at all, or simply that I will not be able to use the internal monitor?

    Thanks!
